Vispera
Vispera aka Eve Piper is an MC, performance poet and DJ.
Hailing from Manchester, Vispera has been performing words since her mid teens, developing her voice through spoken word, slam poetry and creative writing. Always a raver, the last year has seen Vispera emerge in to the Bristol Drum and Bass scene and narrate the rave space with her visceral, poetic MCing style.
This year has seen Vispera host for the likes of Creatures, missledz, Artemis and Trex as a resident for Balance Bristol and Full Spectrum. She also made her Boomtown debut hosting for Hollie-May in the Hidden Woods.
Vispera is one half of Drum and Bass duo ‘Forbidden FM’, hosting a Goatshed residency of the same name. Along with Lilithyx, Vispera can be seen delivering dark energy to the decks as a DJ pushing minimal, deep, gritty selections. Moving between Mic and mixer showing a penchant for both sides of DnB performance.
Branching into music Eve adopted the name ‘Vispera’ meaning ‘eve’ or ‘the night before’ in Spanish. Also translating to ‘evening prayers’, expect nocturnal incantations and dark vibrations from Vispera.
