Ghost Hardware
London, United Kingdom
Ghost Hardware is a 120-174 non-binary DJ/Producer and Artist from Mexico, currently living in the UK. Ghost is the founder and manager of No Reality Music, a new multi-genre record label and collective that focuses on breaking sonic boundaries and celebrating unique and individual creativity. Ghost Hardware has recently been featured in UKF’s ‘One’s to Watch’ list, 2022 and has previously supported the likes of Fabio, Grooverider, Scar, Universal Project, DLR, Submotive, PAV4N (Foreign Beggars), Keeno, Kyrist, Jubei, Total Science, Trex and many more.
Ghost Hardware has a BA in Fine Art at Central Saint Martins. Their artistic practise is predominantly based on the psychogeography of liminal spaces. Ghost gets lost in unknown locations at night for creative and therapeutic purposes. Notions of Anonymity, Escapism, Dissociation, Nyctophilia (love for the night and darkness) and Euphoria are explored in Audio-Visual Installations. The works challenge gender stereotypes in public space and the stigma of nightwalking in capitalist society.
Ghost Hardware’s music and DJ sets usually express a heavier, darker atmosphere just like their visuals.
