KIRA was born in Poland with Russian and Ukrainian roots, before moving to the UK where she discovered a love for electronic music and rave culture. KIRA’s specialty is the dark, minimal and grotty sounds of drum and bass inspired by artists such as Alix Perez, Halogenix, Skeptical and Bredren.

Whilst initially intimidated by her surrounding male peers who were all into production and mixing, she overcame her fears and let her love for the music guide her to the decks. Since then, her knowledge and musical exploration has led to multiple opportunities and personal achievements including supporting Alix Perez, playing at Red Bull UK’s Open House, Enter & Drumfunk, and being booked for Outlook Festival 2019 and SUBU Summer Ball.
