DJ Producer Drum And Bass Jungle Dubstep 140

Renowned for her diverse oeuvre spanning Liquid, Jungle, Dancefloor Drum and Bass and even Dubstep, Elizabeth “LIZ-E” Welch has come a long way since her formative years as a rave enthusiast and self-taught vinyl DJ. First learning to produce in the early 2010s under the expert tutelage of Smokin’ Riddims founder Jaydan, the Luton D&B mainstay has since honed her craft across a range of musical styles, going on to release songs via prestigious institutions including Friction’s Shogun Audio, Matrix & Futurebound’s Viper Recordings and Fatman Dee’s Biological Beats.

A trailblazer in her own right, LIZ-E made history as the first female producer to release on Viper in 2016 with the luscious roller “Synchronize”, which drew their 2016 Summer Slammers compilation to a cinematic close. She joined Trigga and Bassman’s Shadow Demon Empire collective as their first female member later the same year, dropping the hefty jump up two-tracker “Ducks and Ladders” through their associated imprint. Fast forward to 2020, however, and with “I Need You” coming as an independent release and rumours afloat that she’s setting up her own record label, it seems she’s held onto her DIY mindset.

Having perfected a sound which has simultaneously earned the respect of daytime BBC Radio 1 DJs like Annie Mac, Phil Taggart and MistaJam and pillars of the underground scene such as UKF, Mixmag and Drum&BassArena, LIZ-E has captured the imagination of listeners far and wide. This earnt her the title of Best Female Artist at the 2014 Drum & Bass Awards by public vote and more recently bagging herself coveted bookings at Antwerp’s Rampage Festival and London’s Fabric nightclub. Now sitting on a gold mine of unreleased music, much of which has been crafted over the course of the recent national lockdown, she’s perfectly poised to build upon these already impressive foundations with her upcoming releases. Stay tuned for more updates!
