Majix is a Bristol based drum and bass DJ and producer who grew up in Hampshire playing classical instruments and unearthed her love of electronic music at a very young age. Since discovering drum and bass at the age of 13 she couldn’t get enough, it has always been a genre she has had a great passion for and has dedicated much of her life to. She finally taught herself how to mix in early 2020 at the age of 25 and has since also started to produce drum and bass herself.
Being heavily influenced by many drum and bass artists such as Monrroe, Monty, Waeys, Wingz, Halogenix, Workforce and QZB to name a few, she has in recent years leaned into darker styles of drum and bass but will always be connected to her liquid drum and bass roots.
Her most notable achievements in the industry to date are becoming a resident for the all-female drum and bass label Limitless DNB in January 2021, having been selected by the notorious Sub Zero as one of the top 10 DJ’s in a blends competition run by Dazed Promotions, DJing in the Cage at The Cause in Tottenham, London, being signed to Ransaked Records in January 2022 and playing her Bris-Tek debut at the Black Swan Bristol In September 2022.
