Hailing from Melbourne/Naarm, Sam Stacka is an avid collector, selector, promoter and producer of all things bass related. From fronting a hardcore band in her early adult years to spinning vinyl and digital vibes at countless parties across the city and Australia, Sam is a consummate performer, who thrives on stage in front of a crowd.

She is Co-Founder of one of Melbourne’s longest running bass nights, ‘Bassline’ and has been an active contributor and supporter of Melbourne’s underground bass music scene and sound system culture for many years.

Sam Stacka has supported countless international acts including – General Levy, Dub Phizix, J-Kenzo, DJ Vadim, DJ Storm, Soom T, Radikal Guru, Commodo, Mungo’s hifi, Sir Spyro and rocked festivals including Esoteric festival, the DOT and Jamaican Music and Food Festival. With seamless mixing, tune selection and an ability to transition between multiple genres in her sets, backed by a vast knowledge of past, present and cutting edge sounds including reggae, drum and bass, hip hop, footwork, grime and UKG (just to name a few!), Sam Stacka is a true heavy weight DJ who can read a room, slot in anywhere on a line up from warm up to headliner and fill a dance floor by giving the crowd exactly what they need.
