Bristol-based female collective – Bubski, Es.Kay, Megwan & MSG

Having been UK-bass fanatics for many years whilst all on our separate endeavors, we are now merging our energies into 1. We are an all-inclusive crew of multi-talented babes who aim to hone in on our individual strengths in order to bring you ‘baddest of them all’ when it comes to showcasing the crème de la crème of underground music, especially amongst the realms of breakbeat, UKG, grime, dubstep and techno-infused bass-heavy bangers.

A little bit about us…

Founder and manager of SIS:DEM, Bubski, is a successful promoter and programmer for various venues and events and has recently been making waves herself with her hard-hitting UKG sets. Es.Kay has a long-standing love for 140, dubstep, grime and hip-hop and is known for her aloof blends which are a staple in her mixes; her monthly Aaja radio shows are sure to showcase this as well as it going off in the dance. Megwan is a dab-hand at documenting various aspects of the UK-bass scene via music journalism and casual film photography whilst having a passion for anything slightly obscure at 130bpm; expect an abundance of breaks whilst on the decks. Last but not least, MSG has not only been providing music venues and their masses with her mad flavour-ful food but this now transpires in her DJ sets too; inspired by various cultures from all over the world you can look forward to lots of techno-inspired bass, infused with some heavy percussion.
